Healthy Habits with Hunter Screen Cleaning Plush Dog Give-away
The Healthy Habits with Hunter Chrome Extension launched earlier this year and we want to hear your feedback. Employees who add Healthy Habits with Hunter to their laptop/computer/device and complete this feedback form by Tuesday, September 30, will receive a screen cleaning plush dog (while supplies last).
Move over October: Cross Canada Trek Returns
The Healthy Workplace Committee is excited to announce the return of the Move over October: Cross Canada Trek! Together, our goal will be to get moving and travel across Canada during the month of October!
How it works:
- Participate as an Individual or within a Team.
- Be active - participate in any form of physical activity from Oct 1-31, 2025 to gain steps towards our Cross Canada Trek.
- Win prizes while having fun and experiencing the health benefits of healthy habits.
- Register by Friday, September 26 and be entered into our Registration Incentive Draw to win a Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority (CLOCA) Annual Parking Pass!

Reminders
Chancellor's Challenge 2025
There is still time to register for the Chancellor's Challenge occuring on Saturday, September 20, 2025. This 5K walk/run/roll is a fun, inclusive, non-competitive, pet-friendly event for all ages. The course winds along Ontario Tech's north campus, starting and finishing at Polonsky Commons.
Bonus: Join the FREE Ridgeback Run Club, which is open to all levels, to help you prepare for the event.
First Aid and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
The First Aid and Automated External Defibrillators (AED)s webpage is intended to increase awareness of the Emergency Health Safety Stations as locations to find first aid equipment, including AEDs, on campus, provide videos showing how to use an AED, and other helpful resources. Please familiarize yourself with the location of your closest Emergency Health safety station and other throughout campus.
