Enhancements for the 2025 Challenge

From your feedback, the 2025 challenge is more accessible to all fitness levels and gives you more ways to collect bonus points!  Here’s what’s changed:

  1. There are more ways to collect bonus points!
  2. There are more participation prizes to motivate!
  3. Decreased tracking – The Physical Activity and Self-Care Activity columns, within the Tracker, now mirror the Fruit/Veg and Water consumption columns with ‘yes/no’ drop-downs only.  A list of self-care examples/ideas are provided within the tracker tabs, but anything that supports your self-care counts to earn these points.
  4. Increased accessibility: For Physical Activity, following the Canadian 24-Hour Movement Guidelines, earn points by completing several hours of light physical activity such as standing, muscle strengthening activities using major muscle groups, or moderate to vigorous aerobic physical activities.  The goal is to move more!
  5.

Are there prizes?

Yes! Beyond the fun of friendly competition and health benefits of participating in healthy habits, the prizes are as follows:

  • Top 3 Teams with the most points (points will be averaged by the number of team members)
  • Weekly Participation Prizes
