Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention
This Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention training module provides all Ontario Tech University employees with information and instruction on workplace violence and harassment policies and programs as mandated by the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act. The module that follows will give you the information you need in order to understand violence in the workplace and give you strategies to protect yourself. The material covered in this training session meets the requirements as set out by the Act.

Training Frequency:
This training must be completed within the first 4 weeks of hire.
Training renewal does not have a specific time period or expiry date. Re-training will be required if any of the following occurs:
- Someone demonstrates a lack of understanding or knowledge about Workplace Violence and Harassment Prevention Training
- There is new information available
